Who is Sydney JoomlaDay 2011 for?
The conference will bring together everyone from the lead development team to community developers, designers and end users.

Tickets
There is no physical ticket! We've gone eco-friendly this year - minimal printing. Just purchase your ticket online and turn up with your ID on the day. On Saturday, the conference ticket includes refreshments. On Sunday, tickets to the workshops need to be purchased separately. The half day workshops price does not include food or drink, so you will need to forage for it at the nearby local establishments.
This is a free monthly group in Sydney for users of the Joomla content management system. There are hundreds of Joomla users, web designers, web developers and Joomla contributors in Sydney and this group meetup is a chance for them to learn and share their Joomla experiences.
This meetup is perfect for newbies, expert Joomla developers, web designers, web managers and anyone wanting to learn more about Joomla.

Directions:
From Central station, take the Devonshire Street exit. InterfaceFLOR building is first building on the right. Reception is on right hand side near train tracks. Best to arrive by public transport (it's right next to Central station) as street parking is limited.

Moodle 2.0, which is a learning management system, has been released and it contains a lot of large new features, some completely rewritten, and hundreds of bug fixes.
Major new features include:

YWS is happy to upgrade your Moodle 1.9 site to Moodle 2 for $350 (excluding GST). Your site DB will be backed up and the upgrade trialled before your main site is converted.
Podcasting is a method of publishing audio and video content via the Internet allowing users to subscribe to a feed and to receive new content automatically. As new material is place on the feeder site your podcasting software will detect it and you can elect to automatically download it or selectively choose. The question is how to do this in Joomla.
